About This Site
The Program Improvement Management System (PIMS) has three major structural organizers to assist the user through the PI and DAIT processes. The three organizers include:
- Process stages: Beginning with Fundamentals, the background information needed to begin the PI or DAIT process, followed by Analyze, the examination of student data in language arts and mathematics to identify targeted instructional priorities, which informs and focuses the Planning stage leading to Implementation and progress monitoring of instructional interventions.
- DAS Standards: Resources are organized by the DAS standards to inform and
direct action planning as a coordinated effort at the district and school
level.
- Governance and Leadership
- Alignment of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessments to State Standards
- Fiscal Operations
- Parent and Community
- Human Resources
- Data Systems and Achievement Monitoring
- Professional Development
- Customized locations for districts and COE support providers: areas to house “team” resources for knowledge sharing and archiving results.
