PI Districts: Year 1 - 3
A Title I LEA (district) enters Program Improvement (PI) if the LEA does not meet the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) targets for the aggregate district population for two consecutive years. A LEA would exit PI after making districtwide AYP for two consecutive years.
LEAs must implement certain required services and/or interventions during each year identified as Program Improvement. The following provides the requirements and guidelines for LEA Program Improvement Years 1 - 3.
