PI Plan

PLAN is the second phase of the Program Improvement (PI) process. After conducting internal scans of the academic environment, the district/school identifies target academic areas, the required actions for PI, and completes the Single Plan for Student Achievement.

  • Single Plan for Student Achievement - required annual plan consists of collection and analysis of student performance data, setting priorities for program improvements, rigorous use of effective solution strategies, and ongoing monitoring of results.
  • Standards Management Systems - resources supporting the successful implementation of standards-based instructional programs in five content areas: History-Social Science, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Visual/Performing Arts.
  • PI Parent Toolkit - collection of resources and tools for communicating and involving parents as required in NCLB.
